Letter to my young self: Monique
Hey there, my beautiful young queen!
I hope you’re feeling amazing today and that life is treating you well. As someone who’s been there and done that, I wanted to share a few pieces of advice with you, but don’t worry, it won’t be too heavy, because I know you young people don’t take things too seriously nowadays. Whether that’s a great thing or not, ultimately the choice is yours.
First and foremost, I want you to trust yourself. You are capable of creating the type of life you want, and only you have the power to make it happen. Whether it’s building healthy relationships, pursuing your dream career, or living a healthy lifestyle, always remember that you have the final say.
Speaking of living a healthy lifestyle, taking care of your health should be a top priority. Make a conscious effort to eat nutritious foods, get enough sleep, and stay physically active. Not only will this benefit your physical wellbeing, but it will also improve your mental health and mood.
Don’t forget to meet new people and create meaningful relationships. Networking is a crucial part of personal and professional growth, so put yourself out there and connect with individuals who share your values and ambitions. Exposure to different cultures is also enriching and can broaden your perspective.
When it comes to dating, follow your heart but exercise caution. Safe, responsible dating is essential, and it’s important to create the type of relationship that aligns with your values. Authentic communication with grace and love will help build strong, healthy connections. Remember to trust your gut and intuition always.
Lastly, I want to reiterate the importance of trusting yourself. You are powerful, capable, and worthy of all the things you desire in life. Believe in yourself and keep moving forward on your journey with confidence and grace. You got this, queen!
